Česko zpívá is a national singing competition for amateur vocalists aged 9 to 26, open to participants from Slovakia, Poland and other countries. The contest runs across four rounds - from an initial recorded entry through to a gala final - with a jury of music professionals and well-known singers. Its patron is Czech pop and musical theatre singer Kamila Nývltová. Several alumni have gone on to professional careers in musicals and as solo artists.
