Rock na Plumlově 2026
The sixth edition of the rock festival featuring Czech bands Arakain, Bastard, Limetall, and Calibos on the beach at Vrbiček by the Plumlov Reservoir.
Calibos is a heavy/power metal band from Olomouc, Czech Republic, founded on 1 December 1989. Over more than 35 years they have released seven studio albums, moving between power, speed and heavy metal with occasional hard-rock leanings. Their 1992 self-titled debut is considered a cult record of the early Czech metal scene, and their 1999 track "Go, Go, Go!" was adopted as the official anthem of football club Sigma Olomouc.
The band released a new album Padlý král on December 12, 2025, which was christened on December 27, 2025 at the U kapličky restaurant in Olomouc; the godfather was music critic and radio host Petr Korál.
The server Metalopolis.net published a review of the album Padlý král, which the band highlighted on its Bandzone profile.
In March 2026, an interview with band members was published, in which singer Miroslav Spilka and guitarist Marek Andrejší described the comeback after more than twenty years and the loyalty of fans who returned to concerts again after the band's return in 2016.
A band performance is scheduled for June 20, 2026 in Zborově (CR) at Koupaliště.
