Bára Basiková (born 17 February 1963 in Prague) is a Czech singer and actress who rose to prominence in the 1980s with the bands Precedens and Michal Pavlíček's Stromboli. Her 1991 debut solo album launched a string of pop hits and earned her the Anděl Award for Female Singer of the Year. She has been a fixture of Czech musical theatre, spending four years as Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar and taking the title role in Kleopatra. In 2026, she became the subject of a feature-length time-lapse documentary by Helena Třeštíková, which had its world premiere at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.
