Banane Metalik are a psychobilly and horror punk band from Rennes, Brittany, active since 1989. They coined the term Gore'n'Roll for their own genre - a blend of rock'n'roll, punk, and horror cinema aesthetics, built around a slap double bass. The band is known internationally for theatrical live shows featuring blood, masks, zombies, and a go-gore dancer. Their albums *Requiem de la Dépravation* (1994) and *Sex, Blood and Gore'n'Roll* (2005) received international distribution across the USA, Japan, and Brazil.
