Artur Magrot

About

Artur Magrot (born 1985) is a Czech visual artist and graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. His work focuses on interventions in public space, probing the boundaries between private and shared, visible and hidden. He is also the founder of Ukradená galerie (Stolen Gallery), a project that occupies empty public spaces for exhibitions. He has shown work at GHMP, Galerie Jelení, and the House of Art in Ústí nad Labem, among others.
