Amado-Leandre-Cleaver is an improvising trio of Portuguese saxophonist Rodrigo Amado, French double bassist Joëlle Léandre, and American drummer Gerald Cleaver. The three come from distinct traditions - European free jazz, new music, and American improvisation - and their music is built entirely in the moment, without fixed structures.
