About

Alžběta Jungrová (born 1978, Prague) is a Czech photographer who built her reputation as a documentary and war photojournalist, covering drug trafficking in Pakistan and unrest in Gaza, among other subjects. She has won multiple Czech Press Photo awards. In recent years she has shifted toward fine-art work, printing images on unconventional materials and creating site-specific installations that explore emotion and light.
