Alapar Jazz is a swing and traditional jazz band from Córdoba, Argentina, formed in 2016. Its core trio - singer Mariana Piatti, guitarist Rodrigo Fernández, and double bassist Guillermo Delfino - expands for larger shows with saxophonist/clarinetist Jorge Gornik or pianist Bruno Cravero. The band plays repertoire from the 1920s and 30s, covering Fats Waller, Louis Armstrong and Billie Holiday with a visceral, Latin-tinged energy. In under a decade they have toured South America, the United States and Europe, completing five European tours.
Alapar Jazz performed as part of their 5th European tour in June 2026 in Linz (CulturCafé Smaragd).
In July 2025, the band performed at the Jazz im Sommer festival in Baar in Switzerland, where they were joined by Swiss trombonist Valerio Lepori.
In February 2025, Alapar participated in Carnaval de Jazz in Córdoba, where they performed in the parade and on the main stage.
In June 2024, the band performed at the New Orleans Jazz Museum together with Small Jazz Band and local guitarist Hunter Burgamy.
Alapar Jazz presented themselves in October 2023 at the 14th International Jazz Festival in Córdoba.
