Opening of an exhibition on Japanese interwar architecture with curator Adam Štěch. The vernissage takes place at Semler Residence in Plzeň.
Adam Štěch is a Prague-based architecture historian, journalist, curator and photographer with a focus on modernism. He studied art history at Charles University and co-founded the creative group OKOLO in 2009. Together with architect Jan Bureš he runs the Modernist Prague platform, which documents interwar apartment buildings in the city. He has authored Inside Utopia (Gestalten, 2017) and Modern Architecture and Interiors (Prestel, 2020), and writes for publications including Wallpaper and Domus.
