Adam Plachetka is a Czech bass-baritone who studied at the Prague Conservatory and the Academy of Performing Arts. He performs regularly at major opera houses including the Vienna State Opera, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, and Glyndebourne. He is particularly noted for his roles in operas by Mozart and Donizetti.
