The West Bohemian Museum in Plzeň is one of the oldest museums in Bohemia, founded in 1878. Its main building, a late-19th-century structure set in Kopeckého sady park, houses extensive collections covering history, applied arts, archaeology and the natural world of the region. Both permanent and temporary exhibitions run throughout the year.
