The West Bohemian Museum in Plzeň is one of the oldest museums in Bohemia, founded in 1878. Its main building, a late-19th-century structure in Kopeckého sady park, houses extensive collections covering history, decorative arts, archaeology and the natural world of the region. Both permanent and temporary exhibitions run throughout the year.
