About the venue

The Renaissance château in Rosice near Brno was built on the site of a Gothic castle at the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries, shaped above all by Karel the Elder of Žerotín. It has been a national cultural monument since 2023. Visitors can take two guided tours through 21 rooms, see a permanent toy exhibition, or explore the Cold War-era atomic shelter built beneath the castle garden in the 1960s. The building also houses the town library, an arts school and an amateur theatre.
