Vladimír Havlík – Pieces
Documentation exhibition showcasing the performance art and conceptual works of Czech artist Vladimír Havlík across different creative periods.
The ruins of Klenová castle, first recorded in 1287, stand on a hill 13 km west of Klatovy near the Czech-German border. Count Stadion added a neo-Gothic château after 1832 - an early example of the style in Bohemia. The site is the birthplace of Kryštof Harant z Polžic a Bezdružic (1564). Since 1963 the château has housed the Galerie Klatovy / Klenová, focused on contemporary Czech and international art, with a sculpture park and views of the Šumava highlands from the ramparts.
