About the venue

The castle riding hall in Bechyně was built in 1776 on the castle forecourt as the Paar family's manège, then remodelled in 1864 in the Romantic Gothic style. It stands directly opposite the Renaissance château, separated from it by a large English-style park. After reconstruction it became the largest event hall in South Bohemia, seating up to 900 guests - concerts, theatre performances, balls, exhibitions and corporate events all take place here.
