About the venue

The water-powered hammer mill at Dobřív, near Rokycany, is a technically significant monument - one of the few surviving water hammer forges in Bohemia. Dating from the 18th century, it retains its original forging equipment driven by a waterwheel. The site is administered by the National Technical Museum and is open to visitors.
