Dialogy - Inspiration: Festival Students' Evening
An evening of discussions and inspiration for festival students, led by experienced instructors in Jičín.
An early Baroque summer residence on the edge of Sedličky, a district of Jičín, built between 1627 and 1632 on the orders of Albrecht von Wallenstein as part of his designed landscape. The building was never finished in his lifetime; it took on its current form around 1800, when Ferdinand von Trauttmansdorff converted it into a Classicist country house. The complex includes the loggia itself - with broad arcades and a terrace - an honour courtyard, and the Libosad park, linked to Jičín by a nearly two-kilometre, four-row linden avenue. The non-profit Valdštejnské imaginárium now runs the site and stages concerts, theatre performances, exhibitions and workshops there throughout the year.
