Reynek_Renaud - Dreams from Petrkov

A poetic theatrical production about the life of Czech poet Bohuslav Reynek and French poet Suzanne Renaud.

The production explores several interconnected themes: the contrast between their personalities, the inner worlds of both poets, their mutual inspiration, and the pain of losing their home in France, displacement, and life in an unfree country. The text draws from sources about Suzanne Renaud's life and the poetic work of both spouses - their shared life on the Petrkov estate in the Vysočina region serves as the main source of inspiration.

The production was originally created for the Werich Villa. The dramatic-prose text interweaves with the poetry of both figures and forms the narrative line of a multi-genre performance that combines dance, music, and visual art.
