About the venue

trAkt is a cultural association and venue in the centre of Slavonice, focused on visual art and cross-genre events. It hosts exhibitions of young Czech artists and in 2025 launched the Filmová Renesance festival, combining film screenings, music and visual art. The name plays on the Czech word for a building's rear tract and on "akt" as an artistic genre.
