About the venue

Těšínské divadlo in Český Těšín is the only theatre in the Czech Republic that runs two permanent ensembles side by side - one Czech, one Polish. The Polish company Scena Polska has performed here continuously since 1951. The repertoire spans drama, musicals and children's shows, making it a key cultural hub on the Czech-Polish border.
