Sculptures in the Streets
An exhibition of sculptural works by students and faculty of the University of West Bohemia in Plzeň, combining a gallery with a working studio and presenting art with a holistic approach to public space.
Sýpka Klenová is an exhibition space of the Galerie Klatovy / Klenová, housed in a former manorial granary built in 1885 within the grounds of Klenová castle and château. The Romantic Historicism building, with its prominent central projecting bay, has been a listed cultural monument since 2005. Since 1997 the gallery has used it for rotating exhibitions of Czech fine art from the 20th and 21st centuries. It sits right by the visitor car park, making it easy to combine with a tour of the wider Klenová complex.
