About the venue

Galerie U Bílého jednorožce (Gallery at the White Unicorn) occupies one of the oldest Renaissance buildings in Klatovy, on náměstí Míru - the same house (no. 149) where a baroque pharmacy has stood since 1639, giving the gallery its name. Since 1991 it has been part of Galerie Klatovy / Klenová, one of the largest art museums in the Czech Republic. Two floors of exhibition space are devoted to modern Czech art of the 20th century and contemporary work, with lectures, art workshops and concerts rounding out the programme.
