Nineties Night at Kynžvart Castle
A dance evening celebrating 90s hits with DJs, a light show, and themed cocktails. Nineties-inspired outfits are encouraged.
Kynžvart State Castle near Lázně Kynžvart was the summer residence of Austrian State Chancellor Klemens von Metternich, who had the original late-17th-century baroque building redesigned in the Empire style by architect Pietro Nobile. The tour covers 25 historic rooms with period furniture, an armoury and a library of 24,000 volumes. The highlight for many visitors is Metternich's cabinet of curiosities, which holds Egyptian mummies among its thousands of objects. The castle is surrounded by one of the largest English landscape parks in the Czech Republic and received the Europa Nostra gold medal for restoration in 2002.
