About the venue

Karlštejn Castle was built by Emperor Charles IV in the 14th century to safeguard the Bohemian crown jewels and imperial relics. It rises dramatically above the Berounka river valley and ranks among the most visited castles in the country. Guided tours take visitors through the Imperial Palace and the Chapel of the Holy Cross, famous for its semi-precious stone decoration.
