Academy Kroměříž 2026 Gala Concert
Award-winning students David Pěruška and Filip Fehér perform with the Moravian Philharmonic Olomouc under conductor Tomáš Netopil in a gala concert featuring works by Suk, Haydn, and Sarasate.
The Sněmovní sál, also known as the Great Dining Hall, is the largest Rococo hall in the Czech Republic and the most celebrated interior of the Archbishop's Palace in Kroměříž (UNESCO). The vast space (30 × 14 × 16 m) is decorated with ceiling oil paintings by Franz Adolpha of Freenthal and 22 chandeliers, some in Venetian glass. It took its current name from the Austrian Constituent Imperial Diet, which convened here in 1848-1849. Miloš Forman filmed Amadeus here; after a major restoration completed in 2024, the hall is again open to visitors.
