About the venue

The Strážnice Open-Air Museum is a large ethnographic park in Strážnice, operated by the National Institute of Folk Culture. It preserves traditional folk architecture and rural life of south-east Moravia (Slovácko region), featuring over 90 relocated historic buildings. The site hosts the annual International Folklore Festival Strážnice, one of the most important folklore events in Europe.
