About the venue

Švihov water castle is one of the best-preserved late-Gothic castles in Bohemia, built around the turn of the 16th century by the Švihovský of Rýzmberg family. The castle hall hosts concerts, theatre performances and cultural events in a genuine medieval setting. The castle is also widely known as a filming location for the fairy-tale Three Wishes for Cinderella.
