About the venue

The Orthodox Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius on Resslova Street in Prague's New Town is known above all as the hiding place of the paratroopers involved in the 1942 assassination of Reinhard Heydrich. Its crypt now houses the National Memorial to the Heroes of the Heydrich Terror, with an exhibition documenting Operation Anthropoid. The church itself remains an active place of worship for the Orthodox Church in the Czech Lands.
