Spasi Bože - A Tribute to Miroslav Košler

Renowned Czech conductor Miroslav Košler had a profound connection to Orthodox music. This is evident from his numerous choral arrangements (such as the CD "Spasi Bože") and his teaching legacy - he was the first to instruct Greek conductors Solon Kladas and Mario Christou (director of the Archaion Kallos festival) in the art of conducting Orthodox choirs. The concert will feature works that Košler loved, conducted, and arranged, performed by his students and long-time collaborators.

Program:
- Orthodox hymns by P. Chesnokov, P. I. Tchaikovsky, S. Rachmaninoff, A. A. Arkhangelsk, and Košler's own choral arrangements
- Prague Mixed Choir, conductor: Jan Steyer
- VUS UK (Charles University Artistic Ensemble in Prague), conductor: Filip Dvořák
- Prague Conservatory Chamber Choir, conductor: Miriam Němcová

The concert is held as part of the Archaion Kallos Orthodox Music Festival.
