Katta: Vox Organi
Katta performs Vox Organi, a concert of organ music and vocals at the pilgrimage site Tři kříže. The programme features meditations and spiritual compositions, with weather contingency at a nearby cultural centre.
The Tři kříže (Three Crosses) pilgrimage site stands on the summit of Kaplisko hill (also called Kalvárie) at 674.9 m above sea level, about a kilometre east of Nové Město na Moravě's town centre. Its history goes back to 1482, when a chapel was built here in gratitude for the town being spared from plague. After the chapel disappeared, three wooden crosses were erected in 1680, then replaced by stone ones in 1832 - again as thanks, this time for the town escaping a cholera epidemic. The site has been a listed cultural monument since 1958. A nature trail leads up from Jánská street, and the hilltop offers a broad view over the town.
