Plzeň Plaza is a modern shopping centre in the heart of Pilsen, opened in December 2007 on the site of a former exhibition ground. Its three floors house around 90 shops, restaurants, cafés and a multiplex cinema (Cinema City). Operated by the Klépierre Group, it is located about 250 metres from the main square on the bank of the Mže river. Behind the building lies a park with an amphitheatre used for cultural and sporting events.
