About the venue

Josefov is a remarkably well-preserved baroque fortress built in the 18th century under Emperor Joseph II, now forming part of the town of Jaroměř. Bastion I serves as the entry point to an extensive network of underground corridors that run beneath the fortifications. Guided tours take visitors through this subterranean military engineering.
