Turnov Municipal Theatre is one of the oldest stone theatres in Bohemia, built between 1872 and 1874 at the initiative of a local amateur theatre society and opened on 15 February 1874. Its modest exterior conceals a neo-baroque interior. The theatre has no permanent ensemble and hosts professional and amateur companies from across the Czech Republic. It is part of the Kulturní centrum Turnov.
