The Hradec Králové City Library is a public library with a universal collection, founded in 1894 and operated by the Statutory City of Hradec Králové. Its main building on Wonkova Street houses departments for adults, children, music, and a reference centre, as well as an audio library for the visually impaired and a literary café. In addition to lending services, it regularly hosts exhibitions, lectures, and cultural events, and runs a network of branches across the city.
