AC Klub opened in May 1991 as a student club of the Military Medical Academy in Hradec Králové. It is based on the campus of the Faculty of Military Health Sciences, University of Defence, and has since grown into a non-smoking multicultural centre with no genre restrictions. The programme ranges from live concerts to theatre and lectures.
