About the venue

The house "U Voříkovských", on the corner of Liliová and Zlatá streets, is a medieval townhouse with a history going back at least to 1329, when its owner Perchta of Dubá bequeathed it to the nearby Dominican convent. After two years of construction work, a model heritage restoration was completed in 2017 and the building became a workplace of the National Heritage Institute (NPÚ). The public can use the NPÚ's central library - specialising in art history, architecture and heritage conservation - as well as a research room and a lecture hall.
