Lidový dům on Otická Street is one of the oldest establishments of its kind in Opava, with records going back to 1867. Over the years it passed through several names - from the inn "U pomněnky / Zum Vergissmeinnicht" to Dělnický dům and finally its current name. The large hall hosts dance evenings, balls, boxing memorials and corporate events, while the restaurant serves Czech cuisine and the building also includes a guesthouse with apartments.
