About the venue

Breda Point is a multifunctional cultural space on the ground floor of the heritage-listed historic Breda department store in central Opava. The building had stood unused for years before the space opened to the public in June 2026, serving as a temporary venue while the full reconstruction of the building is being prepared. The flexible hall holds up to 200 people and hosts lectures, exhibitions, discussions and smaller concerts. It is run by the Opava Cultural Organisation but is open to external projects and community initiatives as well.
