Breda Point is a multifunctional cultural space on the ground floor of the heritage-listed historic Breda department store in central Opava. The building had stood unused for years before the space opened to the public in June 2026, serving as a temporary venue while the full reconstruction of the building is being prepared. The flexible hall holds up to 200 people and hosts lectures, exhibitions, discussions and smaller concerts. It is run by the Opava Cultural Organisation but is open to external projects and community initiatives as well.

A travel festival featuring talks by explorers and travel professionals. Hosted at Breda Point in Opava for the first time.
A concert recital of original chansons by Miloň Čepelka, performed by Eliška Lüftnerová and Patrik Ulrich. The evening blends music with readings from the Czech cimrman-performer and poet.
Guitarist Petr Uvira, performing as Krojeny, presents a blues, folk and electronic set with special guests at Breda Point, part of the Slunovrat festival series.
A lecture and discussion about the Vogel family, an Opava business dynasty, and their experiences during World War II. Historian Jaromíra Knapíková will present the story of Otto and Emil Vogel, followed by Ruth Aviram, who survived Theresienstadt and now lives in Israel.
