About the venue

An open-air cinema set in the natural grounds of Nový rybník (New Pond) in Příbram. Occasional screenings began here in 1971, and a permanent venue opened in June 1981. With a capacity of around 3,000 visitors and acoustics ranked among the best of any outdoor venue in the Czech Republic, it hosts not only summer film screenings but also concerts and festivals. The venue is operated by Sportovní zařízení města Příbram.
