About the venue

Svatá Hora (Holy Mountain) near Příbram is the most important Marian pilgrimage site in Bohemia. The Baroque complex with the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary was built in the second half of the 17th century and is surrounded by arcaded cloisters with chapels. Tens of thousands of pilgrims visit each year, especially on the feast of the Assumption on 15 August.
