About the venue

Orfeum is a theatre and concert hall with a clock tower on Jana Švermy street, built in 1923 to a design by north Bohemian architect Richard Brosche. Named after the mythical Greek singer Orpheus, it was historically the first public cinema in Kadaň. Today it hosts theatre performances, concerts, lectures and travel screenings, with capacity for up to 500 people including the balcony. It is also the home stage of the Navenek theatre company and the base of the DOpatra youth club.
