Opening - Marie Ladrová
Opening of painter Marie Ladrová's exhibition at the gallery in Kadaň, with a chance to meet the artist.
Galerie Josefa Lieslera occupies the arcade of Kadaň's town hall, a space that once served as the town jail. Founded in 1996, it is named after the painter, graphic artist and illustrator Josef Liesler, who was born in nearby Vidolice. Exhibitions focus on contemporary art - paintings, sculptures and installations - and rotate monthly. The gallery also runs an open-air gallery on Studentské náměstí, where large-format panels show photography exhibitions and school projects.
