Kulturní dům Máj is the main cultural and social venue in Pelhřimov, run by the city's municipal organisation. The large hall seats 250 to 500 people, a smaller stage holds 143, and two salons are available for smaller events. The programme covers balls, concerts, theatre and conferences.
