Mucha's Path – Mucha's Legacy in Design
An exhibition dedicated to Alphonse Mucha as a pioneer of modern design. Visitors will discover his role as a visionary and educator who shaped the design thinking of his era.
The Kulturní a informační centrum Ivančice occupies the old town hall on Palackého náměstí - a Gothic-Renaissance building from 1544 and the oldest secular structure on the square. Following a major reconstruction in 1992-2002, it now houses permanent exhibitions dedicated to two famous natives: the painter Alfons Mucha and the actor Vladimír Menšík. The centre also stages concerts, theatre performances and temporary exhibitions, and publishes the local newspaper Ivančický zpravodaj.
