About the venue

Kino Réna has stood on Palackého náměstí in Ivančice since around 1932. After a major reconstruction it was ceremonially reopened in March 1988, and today it has a main hall with 253 seats and a smaller hall on the first floor with 70 seats. Digital projection in 2D and 3D has been in place since 2012, along with live satellite broadcasts. As part of the town's Cultural and Information Centre, the venue also hosts theatre performances, concerts and lectures. In summer, screenings move to the town hall courtyard - a tradition going back to 1969.
