Krňany is a municipality in Benešov District in the Central Bohemian Region, situated on a ridge between the Vltava and Sázava rivers, approximately 30 km south of Prague. The village has around 500 inhabitants and consists of three parts: Krňany, Teletín and Třebsín. It is first mentioned in written records from 1061. The surrounding area hosts outdoor cultural events, including the Třebsínské zvonění music festival.
