Královské stříbření Kutné Hory is an annual Gothic historical festival held since 1992 every June in the Breuer Gardens below the Italian Court. The scenario transports visitors roughly 620 years back in time, centred on the fictional arrival of King Wenceslas IV with Queen Sophia and the royal court. Over the weekend, the programme includes jousting, horse tournaments, processions through the historic centre, medieval craft demonstrations, falconry and a period market. The festival is organised by the civic association Stříbrná Kutná Hora, with a new script each year drawn from real historical events.
