About the venue

The Church of Our Lady below the Chain stands on Maltese Square in Prague's Malá Strana district and ranks among the oldest religious buildings in the area. Founded in the 13th century as part of a Knights Hospitaller commandery, it began as a Gothic structure and later took on Baroque features. Only the entrance porch with its two towers survives, as the main nave was demolished long ago. The space now hosts occasional services, sacred music concerts and small-scale cultural events.
