Autumn Concert of Jeseník String Orchestra - 20 Years of SOJ
The Jeseník String Orchestra marks two decades of conductor František Mech with a traditional autumn concert.
The chapel adjoining the former Ursuline convent was built in 1897 as a pseudo-Romanesque basilica to designs by diocesan architect Ebers. It served the nuns until the convent was dissolved in 1948. The original rich interior has not survived; today the space, notable for its painted wooden ceiling, hosts city cultural events - exhibitions, concerts and choral performances.
