Kino Hvězda is the only cinema in Přerov, built in 1975 and ceremonially opened on 21 December 1976. Since 2016 it has been operated by the City of Přerov. The 399-seat auditorium features a laser 4K projector and a panoramic screen measuring 16.5 × 7 m. The building includes an atomic shelter; alongside film screenings, the venue hosts lectures, festivals and exhibitions.
