About the venue

Kino Brigáda is a small town cinema built in 1961 in the so-called Brussels style, a striking example of that mid-20th-century architectural trend in a South Moravian small town. The auditorium seats around 270 and the foyer has a bar. Regular film screenings share the programme with concerts, lectures and club events, and a film club runs its own selection of older and art-house titles.
